ActiveLifeTrainer 健身场所

Why the smart sensor in activeLife Trainer matters.

Every activeLife Trainer comes equipped with a fully Android and Apple iOS compatible smart sensor operating under the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard. This makes it compatible with many fitness wristbands and any Android or Apple smartphone or tablet sold in the last few years. The BLE smart sensor implements the international open standard interface for bicycle speed and cadence so users can track their workouts on this under-desk mini elliptical exercise machine using dozens of free exercise apps such as Wahoo Fitness or Cateye Cycling. Such tracking of activeLife Trainer workouts is often key to keeping users actively engaged because, over time, the workout numbers get really impressive! Many activeLife Trainer users “walk” hundreds of miles per year burning tens of thousands extra calories. That’s why the smart sensor in activeLife Trainer  matters … a lot!

Every activeLife Trainer is equipped with a fully Android and Apple iOS compatible smart sensor operating under the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard. This makes it compatible with fitness wristbands, such as TomTom Spark 3 and many others. It’s also compatible with just about any Android or Apple smartphone or tablet made in the last few years. (as long as they are BLE 4.0 compatible or better). Many computers are also BLE capable. The BLE smart sensor in activeLife Trainer implements the international open standard interface for bicycle speed and cadence (pedaling speed in rounds per minute).

Because the smart sensor uses this interface, users can track their activeLife Trainer workouts on their favorrite devices using dozens of free exercise apps including Wahoo Fitness, Cateye Cycling, and many others. Note that currently, we recommend Cateye Cycling because it automatically detects when activeLife Trainer is used and thus offers highly accurate user feedback. Most of these exercise apps also fully integrate into social media with users being able to share their activeLife Trainer workouts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Our experience has shown that tracking activeLife Trainer workouts is often key to keeping users actively and sustainably exercising with these under-desk mini elliptical exercise machines for the long term. Office exercise with activeLife Trainer is a low intensity but extended duration exercise - we recommend at least one hour per day but many users use it three hours per day and more. So over time, the workout numbers get really impressive - many of our users use our under-desk mini elliptical machines  to “walk” hundreds of miles per year burning tens of thousands extra calories. Especially when engaging in low intensity workouts where the immediate impact on the body may not be as obvious as, for example, when going for a run, many users find that these impressive feedback numbers are key to keeping them engaged and motivated.

So the smart sensor in activeLife Trainer is key to showing you how much good you are doing your body using this mini elliptical. In other words, it’s all about creating and maintaining sustained motivation to exercise.

And that’s why the smart sensor in activeLife Trainer matters … a lot!
